A stunning picture book about the interconnectedness of life and the power of storytelling to bring us together, new from award-winning artist Todd Stewart An explorer and a robot are traveling the universe in their spaceship, when their engine malfunctions and they crash-land on an unknown planet. How will they fix their ship? Will they ever explore again? And who are the strange light-filled creatures who are beckoning to them? As they meet the planet's life-forms, the duo realizes that they are the strange creatures here--and that they can all work together to repair the spaceship and clean up the crash site. As they work, they share stories with the planet's inhabitants, forging a connection that makes even the distant stars seem closer. Told from multiple perspectives, this unique story invites readers to consider the ways in which we're all connected. Lyrical text and out-of-this-world screen-printed and digital artwork invite readers into a rich universe to explore.
