Saviour Pirotta was born on the island of Malta and emigrated to the UK. Before taking up writing full time, he was a postman, a chef, and a storyteller. His retellings of myths, legends, and folk tales have been published around the world. He lives in Saltaire, West Yorkshire.

Sara Gianassi is a children's book editor from Florence, Italy. She studied costume and scenic design at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence. Her work has been published with Usborne, Hachette Group, Parragon, Penguin Random House, Nuinui, BoriBoricha, Lifeway, and Raffaello Editrice.
