Robert F. Edwards was born in Liverpool in the 1950s. He has been a policeman, a publican, and a teacher. He is a keen local historian regularly wrote articles for the "Liverpool Echo" in the early 1980s. He currently maintains and runs a local history blogspot, www.liverpoolpicturebook.blogspot.com, as well as administering Liverpool's local forum 'My Liverpool.'
