The Author Deborah Hoffmann lived in many foreign countries, and always enjoyed writing and describing her travels and experiences and everything that moved her. Sometimes it was a concert, or a wedding, or even the funeral of a dear friend. She was born in Prague in 1935 to American diplomat parents. In 1956 she married her Swiss husband and they also moved quite often. When he died in 1986, she began to write more seriously.
