Autorenporträt
Dr. Paul Jennings is CEO, Jamaica dairy development Board. An Animal Nutritionist he received his PhD degree in Applied Ruminant Nutrition in 1983 from the University of London having conducted studies at Wye College, kent, on the response to supplementary feeding by grazing cows. He took an undergraduate degree in Agriculture with honours at the University of the West indies, St. Augustine campus in 1974 and also holds an MBA (Finance) from the UWI at Mona. He has researched and written extensively over the past three decades on the nutrition and husbandry, primarily of, dairy cattle. His current focus is the interelationship between Public Policy, Business Strategy and Technolgy in achieving international competitiveness in Livestock production. Dr. Jennings has been married to his wife, Marcia and they are parents to three adult daughters. He is Life-member and Past President of the Jamaican Society for Agricultural Sciences and also holds membership in the Jamaican Society for Scientists and Technologists and the British Society for Animal Sciences.
