Eliseo Porras was born and raised in a rural farming community in southern New Mexico. He is the third child of Ramon and Librada Porras' nine children. Soon after he started his carrier as a professional truck driver, the scenery along his travels have been his sole inspiration and motivation for writing and expressing his appreciation for the simplest of things that he encounters along the open road. These few poems he has chosen to publish are just a small portion of many he has penned throughout the years as he goes from state to state, from one delivery to another.
