The role of therapeutic patient education in the management of celiac disease in children is well identified to help them adhere to the gluten-free diet and become actors in their own health. The first step is the educational diagnosis, which identifies the patient's needs and takes into account their expectations. The caregiver-educator sets the objectives with the patient throughout the course, thus defining the educational contract. The choice of educational sessions may therefore differ according to the learning priorities. Then the patient and his/her parents can follow a personalized therapeutic patient education program. We propose a program consisting of 6 sessions at a rate of one session per week (one individual session and 5 group workshops). At the end of the program, evaluation and self-evaluation grids are filled out. Therapeutic education of children with celiac disease is beneficial not only for the improvement of the patients' health status but also for the rationalization of economic resources.
