This study focuses on the living conditions of migrant workers in Kerala's construction sector. It deals with the life of workers who migrate to Kerala from different parts of India and who works in construction sites as laborers and sub-contractors. The main objective of the study is to find out social problems of migrant workers in the unorganized sector by examining various aspects like problems of employment, accommodation difficulties, nature of changed food habits and health hazards.

Autorenporträt
George Alexander has obtained his M.Phil in Social Sciences from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2011 and Masters in Social Work with first rank and a gold medal from the University of Kerala in 2007. His areas of interests are Human Resource Training & Development, Participatory Approaches and Church Management. This book is his third publication.
