Marlene McKnight Koenig is a retired Administrative Assistant for a large corporation. As a lifelong resident of Ohio, with two grown sons and an active church life, she finally found the time and inspiration to write her first children's book, based on real family events. An avid reader her entire life, she decided to join with friend, Author/ Illustrator David Phillip Parks, to bring the true, touching story of Frisky to life. In her spare time, she loves doing crafts, baking, doing word and jigsaw puzzles, working on computer projects, crocheting, and playing the piano.
