Mel Layne is a gifted entrepreneur allowing his skills to be utilized in a wide array of business vocations and personal interests. He married his high school sweetheart, and to this union, they became the parents of 4 boys. At age 23, they purchased his father's farm and expanded it to thousands of acres. Detaching from their farm interest, moved to California in 1987. Here he became part owner-developer in a shopping center and several housing projects. Long interested in sharing the good news of Jesus in foreign cultures, he remains active in Christian missions worldwide.
