In sound they became similar to, but still distinct from, Sepultura while others have made comparisons to early Meshuggah. In 2003 the group split up and in 2005 their label, Solidstate, released their best-of album, In Memoriam (2005). In 2008 Living Sacrifice reformed and released a 2 song digital only single called "Death Machine". Then they began working on The Infinite Order which was released on January 26, 2010.
