Autorenporträt
I was born in Southport, England where I worked in Education Administration for 20 years. 'SPANGLES', a contemporary thriller, with historical links to the Mediterranean. It's exciting, fast moving and should keep you on the edge of your seat, as the villainous Michael Dutton seeks to locate the focus of a secret told to him as a child. THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD: A Memoir - a nostalgic look into life over half a century ago, of a little girl growing up in the 1950s and 60s in the Victorian seaside resort of Southport. LIZZIE: A Life Lived, a story of human struggle beginning in the mid 1800s in Ireland, laying bare the hardship, poverty and losses of a family. Despite her traumatic life, Lizzie retains her passion and dignity - but where will it take her and how will she overcome her past? To be released in Spring 2017. A short children's story, 'The Three Bees', a farmyard adventure. 'The Creatures', a children's science fiction book (Original story by James Charters which won a World Book Day 2016 competition). 'RUBIES', my debut novel, an adventure which takes Carrie Goodwin and Fiona Oliver on a quest. Go with them, through the back streets of New York and across the continents to the splendour of the palaces of Myanmar. DRAGONFLY ODYSSEY: The sequel to SPANGLES, is a work in progress, which takes us back to the evil legacy of Michael Dutton. The search is back on. The hub of our house, like most households, is my kitchen, where I love to be with family and friends, subjecting them to the fruits of my culinary labours. I love cooking, baking, home-making, gardening, travelling and reading. My favourite Celebrity Chef is Jamie Oliver. My favourite sweet treat is marzipan. My favourite authors include Sidney Sheldon and Clive Cussler. I love Disney films and Harry Potter and my favourite actor is currently Martin Clunes in Doc Martin.
