The integrated institutions in the local governance system that provide different forms of social services to farming households are very important to sustain their livelihood assets and welfare. Therefore, it is essential for stakeholders concerned with a rural livelihood to work collaboratively toward improving access to public, private and traditional institutions for farming household heads and motivate them to engage in diversified livelihood strategies and development programs for sustaining their livelihood. In this regard, the work is important to social change in that it could create awareness to policymakers at national, regional and local levels to collaborate with the community, private sector and civil society organization for designing and implementing development programs and livelihood strategies that integrate the local preferences for sustaining the livelihood of farming households.
