Tuberculosis cases are rising in the upper east region and the curing rate of tuberculosis in the region is low, the second lowest curing rates in worldwide. This research was conducted to assess the growth in the healing process (survivability growth) and drug intervention (reliability of the TB drug) in recovery of tuberculosis patients. The study revealed that the drug for the treatment of tuberculosis is reliable since there was a positive drug intervention in the treatment of the disease and this was due to the continuous TB drug developments through making new TB antibiotics drugs ( badaquiline and delamanid ), the combination of antibiotics (multiple drugs administration) and the act of research. Also there was growth in the healing process (survivability growth). The average healing time for TB patients to be cured from TB is about 25.69 weeks (180) days. From the analyses, the outcome of treatment had a success rate of 74% and that other factors that affect the recovery and treatment outcome of TB patients such as age, HIV infection, gender, alcoholism, and intravenous drug practice.
