Kohn is Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, and a senior writer for NUVO. She is author of many books and plays, including Always a People: Oral Histories of Contemporary Woodland Indians. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
