He just saw the war as a way to get out of his situation at home. He was told that he would make eleven dollars per month which was enough to take care of his wife and two children. Soon after he joined the Army he was captured by the Tennessee Federals which set into motion unforeseen events that would turn a gentle giant into a cold hard man who could take a life without blinking an eye.

Autorenporträt
Perry McCutcheon was born and raised in Perry County Tennessee. In the early 50's when he was a young boy, he would sit on the front porch listening to the old folks telling stories about the Civil War and how the damn Yankees use to terrorize the hill folks. Perry McCutcheon joined the Air Force when he was eighteen and served thirty years traveling extensively throughout the world. He currently lives in New Braunfels Texas.
