New morphometrical data, derived by means of Gis analysis on SRTM data from the Southern Apennine fold and thrust belt, highlight the extension of the post-orogenic uplift from the Bradanic foredeep to the outer side of the chain. These data, together with field data from the larger wedge-top basin of the Southern Apennine (the Sant'Arcangelo basin, Lucania region) and with Apatite Fission Track and AHe data, suggest that the Monte Alpi area (where the Apulia foreland crops out) has experienced the highest surface uplift, which is also related to the occurrence of detachment faulting that…mehr

Autorenporträt
I graduaded in 2006 in Geology and I got a Ph.d in Earth Science in 2010, both at the University of Naples Federico II. The post-doctoral research has been then focused on Seismic Microzoning and Gis analysis. My current research is addressed to the study of Morphotectonics and Quaternary Geology both in marine and in continental environment.
