Lowell Mick White is the author of four previous books: That Demon Life and Professed, novels, and Long Time Ago Good, and The Messes We Make of Our Lives, story collections. His work has been published in many literary journals, including Callaloo, Iron Horse Literary Review, and Still: The Journal. A winner of the Dobie-Paisano Fellowship and a member of the Texas Institute of Letters, White received his PhD from Texas A&M University.
