This work expresses the idea that women, in the same way as men, can take pleasure in Scopophilic, Fetishistic as well as Narcissistic Voyeurism as the viewers of twentieth century cinema. This work also investigates the female Exhibitionist in film in which they are in the position of power and control as the protagonist. Citing evidence through pyscho-analysis, film theory, cultural evolution and revolution and filmic examples, this work aims to better understand the modern female viewer.
