About the Author: Kelly Rysten was born in Rockledge, Florida and grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She enjoys geocaching, oil painting and exploring the deserts and mountains of the southwest. She lives in Southern California with her husband, Gary, has two grown children, three grandchildren and a Shetland sheep dog. She has published five novels starring Cassidy and has many more of Cassidy's adventures waiting to be published. Kelly is also the author of Geogirl, an action adventure romance novel that incorporates the hobby of geocaching.

Kelly Rysten was born in Rockledge, Florida and her family moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico when she was a young girl. Being raised by a librarian and a teacher meant that books have always been part of Kelly's life. Kelly and her husband presently reside in southern California. They have two grown children, three grandchildren, and a crazy Australian Cattle Dog named Chase. Chase is named after Chase Downing, who is very much a part of this book. Kelly is currently working on more Cassidy Adventures and has begun to publish novels featuring her hobby of geocaching. FTF Geocacher Magazine also publishes her short stories about a handyman geocacher named Cooper and his geodog, Ranger.
