Lord Tennyson and T.S Eliot are two bright stars on the firmament of the English literary world. They have contributed to the people of the world. There have been striking similarities between these two poets in their personal life as well as a professional career. Both of the poets have used the mask of old age to express their personal agony, despondency, and disenchantment with their age. They have brilliantly used myths as a strong tool to focus on the problems. Both of them have identified themselves with the predicaments of Tiresias Who was trapped in outs of time. In this book, a sincere attempt has been made to focus on their similarities, style, and techniques of the use of Myths, Legends, and History. This study uses the comparative frame of references that will help us pointing out the influence of Tennyson in the poetry of Eliot. The study also takes into consideration almost all major poems of the two poets.
