Autorenporträt
Pushpinder Singh was blessed with a Dhee (daughter) Charan Kaur in 2014. Since then he has searched around for good punjabi literature for kids and parents. He contacted numerous personalities to create content but nobody was interested in taking up a kids project. It became very clear early on that he will have to take this initiative on his own.Life took it's course and in 2022 the family was blessed with another daughter Paij Kaur. Arrival of his Bhateeji (Niece) re-triggered those emotions and dreams of creating punjabi kids literature. So in final week of 2022 while remembering sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, his four Sahibzadas and countless Sikhs the first book of Sikh Loriyan for Daughters (Titled: Loriyan - Peo Dhee De Prem Diyan) was created and published in Jan 2023.The relationship of a father and daughter is very important across the cultures. In Punjabi Folklore major focus on relationship of father and daughter only comes up when daughter reaches the age of marriage. The whole part of father being a emotionally intelligents and invested, caring father is ignored. This is an attempt correct that omission and inspire others to write more on the subject. Author aims to inspire parents, grandparents, siblings and other relatives to get more involved in daily routine of their children and also to inspire love for Sikh Religion and Spirituality among kids and their parents. Pushpinder Singh has already planned multiple books in series to approach the subject of Punjabi Loriyan and will be releasing them over next years.
