Autorenporträt
Rodrigo Blanco Calderón (Caracas, 1981) ha publicado los libros de cuentos Una larga fila de hombres (2005), Los Invencibles (2007) y Las rayas (2011). Por sus cuentos ha recibido diversos reconocimientos dentro y fuera de Venezuela. En 2007 fue seleccionado para formar parte del grupo Bogotá 39, que reunió a los mejores narradores latinoamericanos menores de treinta y nueve años. En 2014, su relato "Emuntorios" fue incluido en Thirteen Crime Stories from Latin America, el volumen número 46 de la prestigiosa revista McSweeney's. En 2016 publicó The Night, su primera novela, que ha sido traducida a varios idiomas y por la que obtuvo el premio Rive Gauche à Paris, por la mejor novela extranjera en Francia.
