Delaying citizens their lost items and documents has serious repercussions in economic, social and political spheres of their lives. The period between the time of losing said items and finding them has been shown to last anywhere from a few months to never actually getting them. This research project therefore aimed to and has led to development of an integrated web and mobile-based system that facilitates significantly easier recovery mechanisms of all lost identifiable items that happen to be found by strangers.
