Desperate, Zach intercedes with the famously severe judge to find a way to save Theo from the gallows.

BITTEN ACHERMAN was born and grew up in Denmark. In 1997, Bitten and her family moved to Canada and settled in Burnaby, British Columbia. Lost in Barkerville, a time travel adventure for young adults, is the first installment in a series about life in Barkerville during the 1860s Cariboo gold rush. In the past, Bitten has won prizes in short story fiction. Lost in Barkerville is her first published book.
