In this sequel to Hallowed Oblivion, Hank is haunted by his experiences atop the ridge on Halloween night. Watching a group of teens be killed by something monstrous has left him with both physical and mental scars and a lingering desire to know what really happened in those woods. When his best friend, Gerard, disappears into the forest in search of the ghost of his son, Hank knows he needs to act fast and find his friend before whatever killed those kids returns to finish them both off. Meanwhile, Gerard is obsessed with the need to know what happened to his son. Why has his ghost returned? What are these Woods that he keeps referring to? Woods that supposedly led him back to Gerard? And who are the other voices calling out from that darkness in terror that seem to need his help? Praise for Hallowed Oblivion "Hallowed Oblivion is the perfect spooky season read." - Wendy Dalrymple, author of White Ibis and Roser Park "...so creative and gruesome." - Priscilla Bettis, author of Dog Meat "I'm never going night hiking again..." - Paul, a Goodreads reviewer
