Autorenporträt
Shawna Lynn Mazur was born and has lived in Monroe all her life. She has a bachelor's degree in history and literature. She has had an article published in Michigan History Magazine and wrote a book for the National Park Service, where she works at River Raisin National Battlefield Park. This is her second book for The History Press, having written Hidden History of Monroe County, Michigan in 2022. Shawna lives in Carleton, Michigan, with her husband, Joseph Mazur, and their two dogs, Callie and Cassie.
