This edition is for leaders of a group who are using our main book on Lot as a study tool. This edition contains pauses and extra questions and discussion points to help your group delve deeper into the subject. Lot was the nephew of the patriarch Abraham and learned from him as they emigrate from The Iraq/Iran area to Israel, four thousand years ago. Abraham, the father of the Israelis and the Arabs is a giant of the faith, but Lot got sidetracked and lost everything. This book follows his progress and examines what lies behind the scenes. Read about the fascinating escape from Sodom when God rained fire down upon it and finish up appreciating the faithfulness of God. Great Bible study tool. Use for Bible study with small groups. The Apostle Paul said that the old covenant was a school teacher to bring us to God. We leave school when we become an adult, but we don't forget what we learned there. In the same way, the old covenant is immensely important to us as Christians. We must learn from the Old testament before we can truly understand the New Testament.

Autorenporträt
Jim Whitelaw is a committed Christian and an author. Jim was brought up in a Christian home from the day he was born but has not always found the road easy or straightforward. This gives him an insight into the difficulties the characters in the Bible must have faced, in his Biblical Character Series, and helps him to look at many of the failures in a different and forgiving light. Jim Whitelaw is semi-retired after a life largely spent at sea. He is a grandfather with 5 grandchildren and lives in the northeast of Scotland. He writes mostly what is on his heart and interests him, so has more than one niche. You can find out more about Jim on his website at www.jamesgwhitelaw.com
