Danise DiStasi, author and speaker, worked in the medical industry for 27 years after graduating with a degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. During that time, her positions ranged from nuclear medicine product specialist to manager and vice president of sales and marketing. In 2001, she joined The Ken Blanchard Companies, working first in business development and then in leadership training. In 2007, she started DiStasi Advisors, LLC, coaching Fortune 500 C-Level executives and their teams on leadership, character development, productivity, performance, and team building solutions. Danise has twenty years of professional writing experience and years of practical, hands on experience in leadership and business. In 2013, she adopted a seemingly unmanageable dog named Louie, and everything she thought she knew about life, love, and leadership, changed. Her experience with Louie spurred Danise to write. She has since teamed up with her grandchildren, Evi and Mea, to write children's books based on Louie. In addition to being an author, Danise currently assists others in writing their stories. She enjoys storytelling with her granddaughters, laughing at Louie's silly antics, and spending time with her family. Rachel Royer is a freelance graphic designer obsessed with hand-lettering and all things type.
