Then on my fifty-nineth birthday I had surgery for breast cancer. During the time i was taking chemo, my sister passed this life. I have had cancer twice since; but the Lord whom I serve and write about has brought me through. I never thought once about turning away from Him and I grew stronger in my faith. I always claim the Scripture "I can do all tings through Christ who strengthen me." I pray those who read my poetry will be blessed and encouraged.
