Autorenporträt
Jorge N. Ferrer, PhD is a clinical psychologist, author, and educator. He was a professor of psychology for more than 20 years at the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, where he also served as chair of the Department of East-West Psychology. He has published several books and many articles on psychology, education, and religious studies, and his work on alternative intimate relationships has been featured in journals such as Sexuality and Culture and Psychology and Sexuality. Ferrer received the Fetzer Institute's Presidential Award for his seminal work on consciousness studies and is an advisor to the Religions for Peace at the United Nations organization.
