Mawuli is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Education from Boston College. He also holds a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Social Analysis from Columbia University's Teacher's College. He has traveled the world extensively and through his travels, he has lived and loved.
