She stood with her troops to protect our country. She suits up and hits the front line. After all her brave efforts, she returns home and picks up a pen and pad. She lets her creative juices flow. Now a poet in a published book called Stars in Our Hearts Musings, Coleen Fountain is a native of Detroit, Michigan; a graduate of Mackenzie High School; and a member of a family of six. Coleen has always stood out, being the middle child. She made it clear who she was and who she wanted to be. At the age of eighteen, Coleen joined the army and served her country. She has earned medals, awards, and accommodations. She has two beautiful children. Her goals include ghost-writing songs for music and writings. Coleen spends a lot of time enjoying several genres of music. Coleen now wants to be an author and offer the world some of her work. Being a God-fearing woman who loves the Lord, Coleen attends Cathedral of Faith in Detroit, Michigan, where she wants to be part of the choir and to be a kitchen worker. She also has a secret passion for cooking and helping people. She loves to bowl, play cards, collect horse shoes, and have family outings. If you ever crossed her path, you have had some adventure and definitely some laughs.
