Barbara Williams Brown was born in a small rural area of South Carolina call Salters. Although she traveled and visited many other cities and states, and lived in varies other places, she always manages to find her way back to Salters. Barbara holds bachelor's degrees in psychology, social work, and human services; master's degree in clinical counseling, and completed her doctoral studies in general educational psychology. She has accomplished many things in her lifetime, but her love of poetry has always been an integral part of her life. Besides be an accomplished author, she is also a college professor, and mental health therapist.
