Shelby Le Marquand is an author and teacher based in California. She has had a passion for writing since she wrote her first story in elementary school, which inspired her to subsequently earn a Bachelor's Degree in English from Sacramento State University. Shelby enjoys creating stories that encapsulate the magic of love, friendship, and kindness that children would want to read each night. Love Like Olive is her debut children's book, inspired by and in memory of her sweet dog, Olive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading books, and daydreaming about a million new ideas. Shelby hopes to inspire young readers to feel empowered to make their world a better place!
