Autorenporträt
Thomas Karsten, geboren 1958 in Eisenach, lebt in Vierkirchen/München. Seit 1978 beschäftigt er sich mit Photographie und arbeitet seit 1983 als freischaffender Photograph für diverse Magazine (Eltern, Stern, Capital, Das Magazin, Art). Seine freien Arbeiten sind in allen namhaften Photozeitschriften erschienen. Viele Ausstellungen und Ausstellungsbeteiligungen in Galerien und Museen. Sein erstes Fotobuch erhielt den Kodak-Fotobuchpreis.
