Love Notes from a Clergyman: Encouragement for the Brokenhearted...When your faith is stretched beyond what you expected, whether you are persecuted for your faith or had your dreams shattered by the unthinkable, what do you do? Such is the case for the author of Love Notes from a Clergyman. Ophelia's passion for loving and serving the Savior permeated in everything she did, especially her marriage. She loved fully and had her dreams shattered deeply by the one she loved. Her story is for those who like Ophelia, have made that most trusted commitment to love, honor, and support their mate 'til death they do part; only to discover their mate did not have the same commitment. She sacrificed twenty-two years of her time and career only to be abandoned. Her story will help you to trust the Lord Jesus Christ and not your circumstances. It will help you cultivated good emotions and move forward. Her story will remind you that you matter to God. The discovery that her mate's sacrifices were one sided was painful and shocking. If your mate is in ministry, then this book may have a little more relevance for you, since that was her case. She was married to someone who had been called to preach the Word since 1981. Ophelia takes you on a personal journey sharing her pain and heartbreak, and how she managed to survive and realize that the Lord has all things under His control. She continues to encourage others and trust the Lord for a new beginning and you can too.
