Couples counselor Tessa James grew up in the glow of her parents' happily-ever-after. It's the model she uses with her clients: lasting love built on a foundation of trust and friendship, and it works really well. She can fix pretty much any relationship-as long as she's not in it. Despite her lackluster love life, Tessa is confident that she'll find her own happily-ever-after. Someday. She just needs to be patient and stick to the plan. But life isn't cooperating with her plans. Tessa's ex is now her boss, putting her job in jeopardy. Her parents are acting strange. Her friend's marriage is crumbling. Most alarming of all, Tessa's first crush RJ, now a divorce mediator and marriage skeptic, is tempting her to explore the chemistry between them with no strings attached. Time for a new plan. From the award-winning author of Love Song (Instrumental) comes a new novel about love, loss, and the messy reality of happily-ever-after.
