Born in California's Bay Area, Jenn S. Francisco was deeply immersed in Daly City's vibrant Filipino community from an early age. Raised by her devoted parents, extended family, and grandparents who immigrated to the United States, she developed a strong connection to her cultural heritage. Through this book, she seeks to share her experience as a first-generation Filipino American while contributing to the growing collection of Filipino children's literature. Jenn now resides in Southern California's Temecula Valley with her husband, where they cherish the region's breathtaking sunsets.
