Her fellowships and awards include the Virginia Arts Commission, the Ohio Arts Council, the VCCA, the Thomas Wolfe Fiction Prize, and the Virginia Screenwriting Award. An art historian, her articles are published in Travel + Leisure, Elle, Art & Antiques, Interiors, and The Boston Globe.
