Adobe, a traditional material of South Central Chile, has been questioned after the 2010 Chilean earthquake. El profesor Francisco Ramírez, nació en Padre Las Casas, Municipio de la provincia de Azua, en la República Dominicana. Se doctoró en Ciencias Pedagógicas en el Instituto Superior Pedagógico Enrique José Varona en la Ciudad de la Habana, Cuba. Actualmente es profesor del postgrado y de grado en la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo.
