The problem of poor quality maternal health services in Uganda and sub-Saharan Africa has resulted into low utilization of these services and this is contributing to the persistently high MMR of 435 per 100,000 live births. 358,000 maternal death occur worldwide. The problem of low utilization of delivery services hence contributing to high maternal mortality prompted the researcher to find out the causes of this problem in Kiwangala. The general objective was to identify the causes of low utilization of delivery services in Kiwangala H/C IV. Out of the 60 respondents 60% (36) were between the age of 18-24 years and 32-35 years were only 10% this depicted poor utilization by the older mothers. 80% of the respondents were married 16.7% single and 1.7% were widows and 60% of these respondents survived on peasantly and 60% stopped in primary.
