This research, now published in book form, was developed as a small contribution to the updating of the Theory of the Two Circuits of the Urban Economy, elaborated by Milton Santos. Actualmente es estudiante de maestría en el Programa de Posgrado en Geografía de la misma unidad y becaria del CNPq, investigando en las áreas de Geografía Histórica Urbana, Memoria de la Ciudad y Producción del Espacio Urbano.
