Autorenporträt
Anne is a graphic artist, who uses her love of layout, color, illustration and nature to bring her children's stories to life. Stories rooted in her youth-drawing at the coffee table, catching frogs, bike riding and beach trips. These days, Anne looks to brilliant moons, spring peepers and chirping crickets for inspiration to write and illustrate her picture books. The smallest things from nature spark ideas. A ladybug or grasshopper on the windowsill, a squirting clam at the beach, a pinecone standing straight up or pigeons gathering on a rooftop. There's an endless supply of inspiration outside, while inside her cat brings wooly hats. Anne hopes to foster a respect for nature with her books.
