Autor

Jana Dillon is an author, illustrator, and travel enthusiast. She is also the illustrator of Pelican's Little Thumb. Dillon has been writing and illustrating books since early childhood. She has taught art classes in public schools, community colleges, and evening classes and, as a young mother, sold paintings through the Beacon Street Artists Collaborative Dillon is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Bourne Wareham Art Association, Green Brier Nature Center's Wild Woman Walkers, Heritage Museum and Gardens, and a former member of Mystery Writers of America. Her book, Jeb Scarecrow's Pumpkin Patch, received a starred review from Booklist and was a finalist for "Best Book of the Year" in Nick Jr. Family Magazine. Dillon received her bachelor of fine arts degree in painting and art education from Massachusetts College of Art. She currently lives and owns a bed and breakfast in Cape Cod with her husband.
