Lukas Hilbert (born 23 December 1972 in Hamburg) is a German composer, lyricist, music producer and singer. Hilbert founded a musical band called The Future with his brother, Kieran, and the drummer, Maik Buchwald, when he was twelve years' old. Together with the saxophonist, Frank Bannöhr, they toured Germany under the management of Hilbert's father, Erwin Hilbert, until Udo Lindenberg took the brothers into his Panikorchester and gave Erwin an administrative job. At the same time, Lukas and Kieran Hilbert founded the rock band Hauden & Lukas, and Lukas began writing songs with Lindenberg. He worked on the 1991 Lindenberg album Ich will Dich haben, which won a golden disc, before releasing two solo albums, which were less successful.
