Ras Perez was born in the village of Grand Baysituated at the southern tip of the island, Dominica.From an early age, he was attracted to music,because his father played saxophone in the local village band.After years of playing music and recording with local ensembles,he decided to take a look outside of his homeland and region.The journey continues. He currently resides in Berlin.
