Edward T. Janecek has taught a wide range of classes for the past 15 years at Waukesha County Technical College, WI, including Metal Trades Theory, Stamping Die Design, Jig and Fixture Design, Print Reading, CNC Machining, Metallurgy, Precision Measurement, Machine Tool Operation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Contemporary Manufacturing, Safety in Manufacturing, and SolidWorks. Previously, he was employed for 15 years at Stanek Tool Corporation, where he served an apprenticeship as a Tool and Die Maker. His duties included building, maintaining, and repairing tools, special machines, gages, fixtures, and jigs. He also trained apprentices and worked as the inspector and liaison for many of Stanek’s customers, including Boeing Aircraft, Harley Davidson, and John Deere. Ed holds MSSC Certifications in Manufacturing, Safety, Maintenance, and Quality.
