Macro-economic aspects of corruption represent multiple connections of corruption and the entire economic status and development of a given country (perceived or experienced level of corruption in the economy as compared to the macro-economic efficiency of a country expressed e.g. by the indicator of GDP/inhabitant), connection to the inflow of foreign investments, price development, relation with the structure of incomes and expenses of the national budget or the share of grey economy and other connections. The following aspects appeared to be important, mainly during last years: some connections related to the nature (or a change) of the economic order of countries of the former Eastern bloc (transformation of economies), the sphere of international business (problem of so-called export and import of corruption) as well as globalization issues. Within this text the book is focused also on current and possible trends in the sphere of corruption.
