M. Wainwright worked in the Information Technology field in the area of Cyber security. She is a native of Toledo Ohio, but has traveled and lived throughout many parts of Europe, Canada, Africa and the United States. After interacting with people all over the globe, she has learned there is an underlying theme of inequality when it come to people of color. Through her short stories she hopes to encourage young people to be inquisitive and to seek truth. To look beneath the surface and search for the cause, because that is where you will find the solution.
